Literacy Project Foundation

The Literacy Project Foundation was organized in Orange County, CA to help grade school children who have fallen behind in their basic reading skills.  Having developed a board game in conjunction with the University of California, the foundation hires and trains specialized teachers who provided hands on reading classes to small groups of students with below grade-level reading skills.  The Foundation pays for the teachers and the board games which are provided to participating elementary schools.  Last year, over 2,000 students went through the Foundations program.

Annie and daughter Aimee Richter have served on the Board of the Foundation.
